He recalls, “My parents could have easily decided for me, but they asked if I wanted to act. He continued his schooling and even moved on to junior college. “There was a conflict between science and commerce. All of my friends were moving to science. I thought I could do science, but I also wanted to act. My father told me that I shouldn’t take up science if I wanted to act,” he explains.

Moreover, he reflects on the hypothetical advantage of having influential industry connections, saying, “I feel agar mere papa bhi koi bade producer hote, he would have of course looked out for me and helped me. There’s nothing wrong with that.”
