Kabir Khan Hints at ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ Re-Release for 10th Anniversary

In an exciting revelation for Bollywood enthusiasts, Director Kabir Khan has expressed a desire to see his critically acclaimed film ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ return to theaters. The director of the blockbuster, which featured superstar Salman Khan, hinted at a potential re-release during a group media interaction with ANI in Abu Dhabi. The discussion took place amidst the star-studded atmosphere of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards 2024.

Kabir Khan shared his hopes for a re-release next year as the film celebrates its 10th anniversary. “If we get, you know, if the audience sort of reaches out to us and says, you know, re-release Bajrangi Bhaijaan, it’s only 10 years next year, we probably might end up doing that,” said the enthusiastic filmmaker.

Reflecting on the journey with Salman Khan, Kabir Khan found it challenging to single out a favorite memory. “Do you know, I’ve done three films with Salman, so to pick out one moment with him is extremely difficult,” he stated. “There have been just so many moments. Such a lovely journey with Salman that I’ve had, starting from the Tiger series to Bajrangi Bhaijaan. So it’s really impossible for me to pick out one moment.”

‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ narrates the heartfelt story of a man’s quest to reunite a young Pakistani girl with her family across the border. The film touched millions and remains a significant cinematic achievement for both Kabir and Salman Khan.
