The creative minds behind this year’s house design, Omung Kumar and Vanita Garud, have unleashed a visual spectacle that is bound to captivate both contestants and viewers alike.
The house embraces a fantasy theme, seamlessly blending unique and whimsical elements to transport its inhabitants into an imaginative realm. According to the designers, each area within the house has been meticulously curated to offer an unparalleled experience.
Upon entering, contestants and viewers are greeted by two imposing statues that stand as guardians of the abode. Further enhancing the grandeur, majestic dragons have been added, evoking a sense of awe and wonder. The house’s walls are a masterclass in illusion; each side features different faces, fostering a dynamic and ever-changing atmosphere.
A recurring motif throughout the house’s decor is locks and keys, symbolizing the journey contestants will undertake to unlock different facets of themselves. Locks and keys are prominently featured in various design elements, skillfully integrated to maintain the fantasy theme while adding a touch of mystery and intrigue.
Inside, the bedroom is a marvel, crafted to resemble a theater set in a fantastical world. This inviting and interactive space is intended to encourage communication and relationships among the housemates, nurturing camaraderie and drama in equal measure.
The kitchen, another essential area of the house, draws inspiration from a quaint vineyard. With stone walls and wine barrels, it offers a rustic, serene atmosphere that contrasts beautifully with the house’s more magical elements. The attention to detail aims to provide contestants with a space where they can congregate and bond over meals.
One of the house’s most striking features is a large bridge, majestically connecting the living room and storeroom. Suspended over a carpet designed to mimic flowing water, this bridge fosters a sense of tranquility and serves as a central point of the house.
Reflecting on the thoughtful design process, Omung Kumar shared his vision for this season’s house. “We wanted the Bigg Boss OTT Season 3 house to be incredibly unique and vibrant. As a designer, I believe in the magic of transformation. Following the success of last year’s sustainability theme, this season posed a fresh challenge to create something equally captivating,” Kumar stated.
He elaborated on the thematic elements, saying, “In alignment with our theme, we aimed to deliver an experience unlike any other seen before.
. Our design choices, from incorporating keys and locks to featuring grand dragons and two-sided walls with different faces, all contribute to the magical ambience. The keys and locks are a personal favorite—they represent how contestants are locked in and have to unlock new aspects of themselves. Each element was carefully chosen to evoke intrigue and surprise. I’m thrilled to see how contestants will interact with and be inspired by this imaginative space.”
Bigg Boss OTT, a highly popular spin-off of the main Bigg Boss franchise, premiered with filmmaker Karan Johar as its initial host. However, for the second season, the hosting duties were joyously taken up by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, adding a fresh and exciting dynamic to the show.

“Bigg Boss OTT and I are a dream team! We’re both young at heart; people often say—jokingly—that I’m reverse ageing, but Bigg Boss is—seriously—timeless,” Kapoor shared with a smile.
