Sandeep Singh, exuding excitement about this new venture, remarked in a press release, “We are reviving one of television’s most revered shows, but with a fresh and thrilling perspective. . It’s a saga of valor and motivation.”
Navneet Kumar Sehgal, Chairman of Doordarshan, underscored the original series’ timeless legacy, remarking, “‘Fauji’ held a special place in the hearts of Indian viewers, and its revival couldn’t come at a better time. We are thrilled for the audiences to rediscover the indomitable spirit of army personnel through ‘Fauji 2’.”
Resonating this enthusiasm, Gaurav Dwivedi, CEO of Doordarshan, stated, “The moment we were introduced to the concept of ‘Fauji 2’, we knew it was imperative to bring this iconic tale to life once more. The show will be broadcast soon, and we can’t wait to capture the hearts of the Indian populace by reigniting the ‘Fauji’ magic.”
The series is further enhanced by the mellifluous voice of renowned singer Sonu Nigam, who contributes to the title track, promising to etch another memorable tune associated with the series. ‘Fauji 2’ is set to feature an impressive soundtrack of 11 songs, composed by Filmfare Award-winner Shreyas Puranik, with additional musical contributions from Shashi Suman and Jazim Sharma.
Producing this venture is Sandeep Singh, alongside co-producers Vicky Jain and Zafar Mehdi. A team comprising Amarnath Jha, Vishal Chaturvedi, Anil Choudhary, and Chaitanya Tulsyan has collaborated on crafting the script. The show’s direction will be the maiden project for emerging talent Abhinav Pareek.
‘Fauji 2’ is slated to air not only in Hindi but also in Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati, Punjabi, and Bengali, expanding its reach to a varied audience across linguistic spectrums. As the countdown begins for its premiere, the release date remains under wraps, heightening the suspense.
