Mumbai: Controversy has erupted once again on the sets of Bigg Boss OTT 3 as actors Ranvir Shorey and Sana Makbul engage in a heated war of words. The feud came to the forefront recently when Ranvir Shorey expressed his frustration at being labeled a “male chauvinist” by Sana Makbul.
In a candid interview with the Indian Express, the Tiger 3 actor did not hold back on his feelings. Shorey labeled Makbul as a “female chauvinist” and highlighted what he perceives as her continuous misbehavior on the show. “I believe Sana is a female chauvinist. You only get respect when you give it to others, being a girl is not a license to misbehave and be unapologetic. When she told me something, I gave it back, so now she shouldn’t be crying over me disrespecting her,” Shorey voiced firmly. He went on to recount that their initial rapport was quite cordial: “Initially, we got along very well, I used to lovingly call her Pookie. I felt really bad about commenting on her lips but I didn’t know the dog incident. It started on a good note, but later when our fights began she would twist the topic and that caught on.”
The tension between the two contestants first made headlines during their time in the Bigg Boss house, where they were often seen engaging in blistering verbal exchanges. Ranvir Shorey further lashed out at viewers, accusing them of stooping low by encouraging such conflicts. Conversely, Sana Makbul had a different take on their disputes. When I stepped out from the Bigg Boss house, I let the bygones be bygones. It’s all over for me.”
Despite their differences, Shorey had initially praised Makbul’s determination after she won the Bigg Boss OTT 3 trophy. However, he eventually labeled her as an undeserving winner.
