This unexpected departure was disclosed via an Instagram live session, leaving his 2.2 million followers taken aback.
“For the last four years, I have been a daily guest in your homes through this show, playing a character that has garnered both love and resentment. With a heavy heart, I have to inform you that I will no longer be part of Anupamaa. I am deeply grateful for all the love, respect, and support you have shown me. I apologize for this sudden decision,” Pandey communicated to his followers. He further added, “I aim to take on various new roles and I do not wish to bore you by sticking to just one. Please continue to support me.”
Interestingly, only a month ago, Pandey confirmed his return to the music band, Band of Boys, which gained popularity in the early 2000s with hit tracks like “Meri Neend”.
In an intriguing development, filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan has revealed a quirky fear. She shared a humorous video of comedian Jamie Lever impersonating her and commented about her concerns that Jamie might one day “reach” her bank account, underscoring her skills in mimicry. Jamie is the daughter of veteran comedian Johnny Lever and has received widespread recognition for her talent in mimicking various artists, including Khan.
