Bollywood actress Tamannaah Bhatia, who is currently dating actor Vijay Varma, recently opened up about the significant experiences that have shaped her views on relationships, as well as the red flags to be cautious of. In an in-depth conversation on Raj Shamani’s podcast, Tamannaah discussed her past breakups and offered valuable relationship advice for those who might find themselves lost in the complexities of love.
During the interview, Tamannaah candidly recounted her two heartbreaks, which she believes were crucial to her personal growth and understanding of relationships. “I had two heartbreaks which were extremely important for my evolution,” she stated. Reflecting on the first breakup, she explained, “The first happened because I was very young. I think it came from a place where I felt like I wanted more. Just for that one person, I don’t think that I could have given up many other things that I wanted. I felt like there was much more to see.”
Tamannaah went on to discuss the second significant heartbreak, sharing, “Another heartbreak was that I could see that the person was not good for me… as an influence in my life and as a long-term partner.” This realization led Tamannaah to reevaluate the type of partner she wanted in her life and the qualities that would be most beneficial for her long-term happiness.
The actress also touched upon red flags in relationships, with a particular focus on dishonesty. “One of the red flags is liars. People who lie for small things. Like, say this pen is something that you bought but it is gifted to you. The funny part is they lie for small things, not even a big thing… Then they will lie for everything,” she observed.
Offering relationship advice, Tamannaah strongly advised, “Main toh bolungi kisi ki na suno” (Don’t listen to anyone). This counsel was based on her personal experiences, noting that the initial issues one notices in a relationship often persist and become significant obstacles.
. “I was told Jo problem apko relationship ke absolute shuruat mein dikhe na (the problems you see at the beginning of the relationship) like in the first one or two weeks of the relationship, those problems will persist and they will become the roadblock in your relationship. I experienced something similar so it is true.”
Tamannaah’s relationship with Vijay Varma has been the subject of much speculation and gossip. Rumors about their relationship gained traction after a video allegedly showing the couple kissing on New Year’s 2023 went viral. These speculations were further fueled when the couple was seen together in ‘Lust Stories 2’. After months of media buzz and public curiosity, Tamannaah confirmed her relationship with Vijay in an interview in June 2023.
In addition to sharing her personal life, Tamannaah has also been busy with her professional commitments. She was recently seen in the film ‘Vedaa’, which also stars John Abraham and Sharvari. Directed by Nikkhil Advani, the film presents a powerful narrative on resilience and the indomitable human spirit. The storyline follows a young woman, Vedaa (played by Sharvari), who challenges the status quo with the unwavering support of a former soldier, portrayed by John Abraham. The film also features Abhishek Bannerjee in a significant role.
Throughout the podcast, Tamannaah’s reflections on her past relationships and the lessons learned served as insightful advice for many. Her candidness about heartbreak and the evolution of her perceptions of love underscore the importance of being true to oneself and vigilant about the red flags that can emerge early in a relationship. This transparency can serve as a guiding light for those navigating their own relationship journeys.
As the actress continues to thrive both in her personal and professional life, her insights offer a blend of practical advice and emotional wisdom. Whether discussing the pitfalls of dishonesty or the persistence of early relationship problems, Tamannaah’s experiences underscore the complex, yet rewarding, nature of love and self-discovery.
